Beneath it all, oud, olibanum, tonka bean, amber, and musk create a deep resinous trail that lingers like incense smoke carried through the evening air.

"There is an energy in Bali that I can’t fully put into words. It is something you feel more than see. A quiet intensity exists beneath the island’s beauty. In the scent of incense drifting through the air, the sound of distant ceremonial music, the flicker of candlelight against temple stone, and the feeling that something sacred and mysterious is always quietly present.

The more time you spend in Bali, the more everything begins to feel connected. Nature, people, ceremony, and everyday life exist in quiet harmony. There is a timeless quality to the island that gently blurs the boundaries between the past, the present, and the future, leaving you with the feeling that you've become part of something much greater than yourself.

With Karma, I wanted to capture that feeling. Smoky woods and aromatic herbs reflect Bali after dark, while rum and soft florals create a warmth that feels sensual and inviting without losing its quiet depth. Oud and olibanum evoke the richness of incense smoke and rituals, while amber and musk leave a lingering trail that feels both comforting and mysterious.

To me, Karma represents the invisible bond with the soul of Bali. The part of the island that stays with you long after you've returned home, quietly calling you back again and again."
