Aien Mokhtar is an award-winning Malaysian perfumer and founder of OLFAC3, an independent luxury perfume house with a home in Bali. Drawing from her Asian heritage and experiences around the world, she creates original fragrances inspired by the places, people, and moments that have shaped her life.

Her fascination with perfume began at thirteen, when her mother gave her a bottle of Ô de Lancôme. Its bright citrus notes opened her senses to the power of scent to preserve memories and evoke emotions. From the crisp winter air and chimney smoke of Belgrade to quiet Sunday mornings in Venice, the impressions of her travels have become an enduring source of creative inspiration.

For Aien, perfume is more than a beautiful scent. It is a language of its own, capable of expressing emotions and preserving memories that words cannot always capture. Each creation begins with a personal inspiration, gradually taking form through imagination, intuition, and the art of perfumery.

Today, she creates from her studio in Bali, a sanctuary for exploration, experimentation, and quiet reflection. Here, memories and inspirations are transformed into original compositions, each with its own character and story.
